Son of Scott Short and Jane McKnight Short
of Fivemiletown, Tyrone Co., Ireland
Hello this is my great, great, great, great grand father Scott Short. His fathers name was also Scott Short who was married to Jane McKnight Short. They live in Fivemiletown, Tyrone County Ireland.
I would love to visit with you concerning any information you have about the Short family.

Thanks so much! I will include the info on this post. It appears that your 4th great grandfather Scott Short and my 3rd great grandfather John Thomas Dunn were close neighbors in Farmington, Fulton Co., Illinois. Scott and Anna Short are in the 1860 census immediately before John T Dunn. In the 1870 census, they have moved a just a few miles, to Maquon, Knox Co. I have very little information on the the Scott family, but have been contacted by another Scott Short descendent. If you are interested in her contact info, please email me at exdrip3@yahoo.com
