daughters of Joseph Dunn
identified on photo as
top left: Hanna
top right: Bell
lower left:Rebeckah
lower right: Sarah
next to photo, the album is marked: Daughters of Joseph Dunn.
location: Farmington or Brimfield, Illinois
probably daughters of Joseph Dunn (born 1804 Virginia, died 1880 Farmington, Fulton Co. Illinois) and his wife Lucy.
Joseph and Lucy Dunn appear together with household members (probably daughters) Hannah J(21), Amos W (16), Rebecca (14), Sarah E(11), Martha M (4), and Eveline (2) in the 1850 census. In the 1860 census, the household has Martha (14) Eveline (12), and Isabelle (10). The 1870 census has a 19 yr old Isabel living in the household. The 1880 census has Joseph & Lucy living with his son-in-law P. John Baker and daughter Isabell Baker.
This seems to fit, because four of these daughters of Joseph and Lucy Dunn fit the names of the women in the photo, and because Bell appears to be quite a bit younger than the other sisters.
